What escape rooms are available at 60out in Los Angeles?

60out Escape Room has many rooms available to choose from. If you are interested in something specific, then, relatively speaking, all these rooms can be divided into categories of groups, and you can choose what you are looking for:

1) Escape rooms for beginners

Such a group is suitable for those who are just beginning, so to speak, to pave the way to learning about all the unusualness of escape rooms in Los Angeles. For example, this group includes such quest rooms as The SMURFS (adventure children’s room, where children from 2-8 years old can immerse themselves in the mysterious world of smurfs and their lives); Mafia (adventure genre, where you will need to find the organization’s money before the boss of the mafia arrives); Wizard’s Treasure (an adventure genre where you have to defeat evil, create spells, revealing the secrets of the Wizard’s treasures) and others.

2) Escape rooms for experts

If you already know all the specifics of escape room games and most of all you spend your free time in LA escape rooms, then you can consider yourself an expert in quest rooms. In this group at 60out you can find, for example, such escape rooms as Da Vinci’s Secret (action genre, where you are in a secret room filled with some of the most difficult riddles and puzzles known to people and you have to try to solve them) and Ghost Ship (horror genre), where you are on a “cursed” ship and have a time limit to remove the “curse” and escape with your crew)

3) Escape rooms for large groups

If you want to visit escape rooms with a company of up to 6-8 people, then there are such quest games that can be available at 60out Escape Room for large groups. Some of them are Casino Heist Ⅱ (action genre, where you are in a talented team of robbers and have tasks of stealing everything from the casino +  leaving the O’Brien Brothers and their people penniless); Alice in Wonderland (fantasy genre where you need to make sure that Alice is safe in Wonderland); 60out Nautilus (action genre, where your main goal is to explore as much as possible in an ultra-modern abandoned ship and find a way out of the sea as quickly as possible).

4) Family escape rooms

If you want to visit with your family and have a new experience together, then the group of family escape rooms that 60out in LA can offer is what you need. You can try the room like Godzilla vs. Kong (adventure genre, where you dive deep into the Hollow Earth and you need to be ready to solve various mysteries of that world) or Hyde Circus (fantasy genre, where you and your team are hired persons who have to find a cruel man from the circus who has taken a big amount of money from the institution).

5) 75 minutes of escape rooms

The standard time to complete the game in escape rooms in Los Angeles is 60 minutes. But if you think that this is not enough, you can try, for example, Grandma’s Masterplan escape room from 60out. In this quest, your imaginary grandmother suddenly disappears without warning and leaves a letter about her inheritance. Your task is to find the house where the grandmother lived and that inheritance.

6) VR escape rooms

For fans of virtual reality, there is an opportunity to immerse yourself in other worlds. 60out Escape Room has many VR rooms that can vary by genre. 2-3 people play such quests and 60 minutes are available to complete the game. There are, for example, such interesting VR escape rooms as Huxley (a futuristic room where you and your team make your way through new challenges in a post-apocalyptic world, just like in a regular physical quest); Beyond Medusa’s Gate (a video game where you need to escape from the world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey about 445 BEC in ancient Greece); Jungle Quest (the game is similar to the adventure genre, where you are stuck in a portal to another world and are looking for a way home with your team) and others.

60out Escape Room locations and reviews

In addition to the variety of genres and themes of 60out escape rooms, different locations of this place are spread across LA:

1) Hollywood

Escape rooms such as Doctor Psycho, Da Vinci’s Secret and Wizard’s Treasure are available in this city. If you want to know whether a visit to 60out Hollywood is worth it, you can check and read reviews on Google Maps or Yelp.

For example, a recent comment about a visit to Wizard’s Treasure by Gil Ramirez, published on 15.07.2024 on Google Maps, was: ” Becca was full of energy and got us into the role of storming the wizard’s home and take his treasure. The room was fun and even though it is rated easy, it still is enjoyable as we do favors for our gnome neighbors don’t like the wizard much. In the end, we stole some treasure and restored gnome-kind’s pride“. The visitor gave 5 stars and was completely satisfied with the room.

Also, as for the other escape rooms that are available in this place, they also made a good impression on the visitors. But not only the rooms but also the staff who conducted and provide assistance in case of problems. For example, one of the comments on Google Maps published a month ago (somewhere in June 2024) by Abby Kenna: “Jessica hosted us for Doctor Psycho and Da Vinci! She was great at providing subtle hints and totally changed her character for each room. There’s so many great twists in these rooms and it’s such an awesome way to get closer to someone!”

2) Melrose

There are already many more rooms available in this location than in the previous one, in Hollywood: Ghost Ship, Grandma’s Masterplan, Mafia, Dracula, Alice in Wonderland, Jumanji, Jungle Quest VR, Sanctum vr, Alice VR, Mission Sigma VR, House of Fear VR, Christmas VR, Huxley VR, Beyond Medusa`s Gate VR, Escape the Lost Pyramid VR, Prince of Persia: The Dagger of Time VR.

Visitors to 60out Melrose were impressed by the atmosphere of the rooms and the staff who were ready to help at any time. For example, on 14.07.2024, a comment was created by Karmen Bustamante on Google Maps about the visit: “Amazing first time experience with 60out! We have done other escape rooms but this one was very detailed and beautifully designed! It really felt like we were in a different world. Our game master, Quincy, was great and extremely helpful with giving us unlimited hints. We will definitely be back to do more!”

3) Koreatown

60out Koreatown can offer the following available escape rooms: Time Machine, Nautilus, The Orphanage, Turing test.

Visitors paid positive attention to the convenient location. But as for the puzzles, some of the visitors had negative emotions about the simplicity and lack of creativity.

For example, one of the recent 60out Koreatown reviews published on Google Maps almost 3 weeks ago (beginning of July 2024) by Hannah Erickson was very large, but the main things we can quote: “To me, a good escape room has difficult puzzles and an intuitive flow. The Turing Test puzzles were simple and uncreative. Overall, a horribly designed room with inattentive game admins”; “Inattentive admin. We called for admin multiple times, and received either no response or a very delayed response. Perhaps some of the faulty mechanics would have been less annoying if the admins had been more present”; “Game flow is exceptionally awkward. For example, you’ll have solved all the puzzles in a given room, but the next door won’t open. So, you’ll stand around wondering what you did wrong until, at last, the admin tells you there’s actually nothing left to do and you need to wait for other players”…

4) Silver Lake

At 60out Silver Lake, you can find the following escape rooms: Cartel: DEA Undercover, Amityville, Hyde Circus, Houdini, Wicked Witch.

Some visitors to these rooms were positively impressed by the friendly and good staff.

Also, regarding the rooms, the visitors are quite satisfied. For example, here a recent comment on Google Maps was created on 07.13.2024 by Joseph Lee: “Did the hyde circus room and houdini room and both were very fun and challenging. The room designs are super impressive and really cool, some of the best i “ve ever seen”.

5) HHLA

60out HHLA has the following available quest rooms for visitors: The SMURFS, Hotel on Route 66, Casino Heist Ⅱ, Godzilla vs. Kong.

Previous visitors liked the atmosphere of the rooms, the design and the way everything is located in it. But some of the visitors noticed the nuance that the challenges were too easy.

For example, here is this confirmation comment on Google Maps created by Shelby Drake a month ago (somewhere in June 2024): “The visuals were really cool! Very immersive although the challenges were almost TOO easy. We completed in about 45 min with 4 people. I think there were too many hints given unprompted and I wish it was a little longer! however, I really enjoyed the room and we had so much fun!! Our game master Adam was very engaging as well!”
